the world's loss

The Language of God

Do you know what
Language God speaks?
God speaks Every-Language.
That's because God made
Everyone and Gave
Everyone different Languages.
And God understands all of them.
And do you know what is God's
Favorite Language?
God's favorite language is
Not grown-ups's language,
But the Language of Children.
That's because children
Are special to God.
Children know how to share,
And they never lose
Their Heart-Songs.

The world lost a young 13 year old "old soul" on Tuesday, June 22, when Mattie Stepanek slipped quietly from this world into the next. He was world wise beyond his years ... in my mind it's almost as if he was blessed with this incredible wisdom to show those of us, who take so very much for granted in this world, that there is more to life than what we can see, feel, hear, smell, and taste. My heart and prayers go out to his mom, Jenni, his dog Micah, and all those who loved this precious child and were touched by his wisdom.
